User Data Deletion
Last updated: May 3, 2026
kntrkt.io provides contractor operations software (accounts, projects, quotes, and related workflows). If we have processed personal information about you—including information received when you sign in with Facebook or another provider—you may request that we delete it, subject to applicable law and legitimate business needs described below.
How to request deletion
Send an email from an address you control to:
Use the subject line User data deletion request and include, if possible:
- The email address associated with your kntrkt.io account.
- Your display name as shown in the product.
- The contractor business (tenant) name, if you used kntrkt.io as part of a company workspace.
- If you used Facebook Login, note that you signed in with Facebook so we can match your account.
- A brief statement that you want your personal data deleted from kntrkt.io.
We may ask for reasonable follow-up details to confirm your identity before deleting data. If we cannot verify your request, we will explain why.
What happens after you request deletion
- We will delete or anonymize personal data tied to your user profile where retention is not required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution purposes.
- Some information may remain in backups for a limited period until those backups rotate; active systems will be updated according to our retention practices.
- Aggregated or de-identified information that does not identify you may be retained for analytics and service improvement.
Timing
We aim to acknowledge deletion requests within a few business days and complete verified requests without undue delay. Complex requests (for example, involving multiple tenants or legal holds) may take longer; we will communicate expected timing when relevant.
Disconnecting Facebook
If you previously authorized the kntrkt.io Facebook app, you can remove it from your Facebook account at any time. That stops new data sharing from Facebook but does not automatically delete data already stored in kntrkt.io—use the email request above for that.
Manage Facebook app connections here: Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites.
